  1. I sent you a private msg?? I can't check my sent msgs cuz this site won't let me. Bringing papers from orientation?? I didn't get accepted? I'm sorry I'm lost.
  2. I thought about doing the regular RN route as well. I think we have more of a chance by doing that instead if waiting. I just didn't want to spend 2 yrs when I could do a yr as an LVN but if you can't get in anywhere else and instead of wasting time might as well apply into RN. I'm just a lil lazy on getting all my paperwork together to apply. It's a lot of work running around, getting transcipts, calling, asking questions, etc...
  3. Man, well they're annoying me. I don't understand them. I called ELAC and Pierce to check the status of their apps. The lady at ELAC told me I'm on the waitlist for 2 years since I submitted my app two months ago and the lady at Pierce said they'll be sending out notifications in a few more weeks. So, I sit here again and wait and wait and wait some more.
  4. I'm over it. Moving on.
  5. Careful with Shepard. Make sure they're accredited. That's very important! Also, I hear they don't have financial aid. I need financial aid to help me with school...
  6. Well I've also applied to ELAC and Pierce so I'm waiting to hear from them as well. My first choice was PCC cuz its so close to home. If nothing happens then I'm gonna have re-try again. How about yourself? Will you or have you applied to other schools??
  7. I feel the same. Im moving on.
  8. 10 spots and we could all fill them if they would JUST call usssss!!!!!! Lol
  9. Yes, let's pray we all get a chance!!!
  10. My best friend graduated from MSMC 2011. Since she already had a bachelor's she didn't qualify for financial aid so she had to take out loans after loans to attend school. She now has to pay back $80,000 worth of loans just to receive an associates degree in nursing. Granted, she could've work part time as a cna while in school but she chose not to and instead gave 100% to the program. Even though she's now working as an RN in the ICU, she is now stuck paying $800 every month to pay back her tuition and when we talk from time to time it's something she hates and makes her sick every time the subject comes up.
  11. Man you guys this sucks. We all want this badly and for those of us who want it badly there are those that are in this program for all the wrong reasons and that sucks. For the private schools, they are kinda pricey. I've considered it but I've decided to just wait a bit and keep applying till SOMETHING comes up. I can't come to terms with having to pay an arm and a leg for a program, especially west coast university. That place is ridiculous and to think if it doesn't work out there I'm stuck with a loan for life. Let's pray and hope we get a call soon.
  12. So Yesenia no luck?? Do you see spots open or is it completely full??
  13. Oh man, I wanna keep positive but at the same time I have think realistically...
