I am taking my preq science courses and Pasadena college is my first choice. I would like to know what will make me a competitive student. So far on my transcripts I have a low GPA. I have an (A-) in English, a few W's on non-relatd courses in 2003 , D+ on A&P back in 2005 D+ in college algebra back in 2005 and recently have a (W) on my human anatomy. I had to drop the class for a good reason: material error. I wrote an appeal letter to the Dean of Admissions to have my "W" remove from my transcript. I'm waiting to here back from the Dean. Also, when is the application date? Anyone get in with a low GPA but scored high 90's on entrance exam?

How does the school base on selection?

W's ? Repeats?

Lottery or points ? any suggestions as to how i could make myself more competitive?

Nope still waiting to hear from cdj0610...I called yesterday, they said they are going to go down the...list..for alternatives..beacause some . ppl did not show up..so we will see..what happens!!! Fingers crossed! !
