Pasadena City College Fall 2015

Hi all!

I applied for the PCC RN program to start fall 2015. The deadline closed on March 1. Since no thread had been created before feel free to join in if you applied for that term as well.

When they say letters, is it a physical letter?

I think he meant that they will notify us by then I believe it's through email

Dreamon8, I too called today but was told something else. I was told that they haven't sent out any letters yet and are still evaluating and will most likely begin random selection in two weeks. Letters will go out in 2-3 weeks.

I wish they would all at minimum be on the same page. I know we probably hassle them a little too much hehe but still, it's very stressful when there are so many different responses.

I think everybody will know by May 19th because in the email they sent me it said that my "alternate status" will end on May 19th. So if I don't get accepted by then that means I'm not getting in.

How do they choose alrernates before selecting those who get a seat? I'm a bit confused. I haven't received any emails from them :(

NVM I realize you applied to the LVN-RN. Bleh. I'm just a little overwhelmed! Lol did you hear back from GCC?

I haven't heard back from GCC yet. I guess they choose alternates for the lvn-RN bridge first.

I haven't heard back from GCC either...I called them 2 days ago and they said they will notify end of May...now idk if they actually mean that or not since every time I call it's different info lol but GCC's summer semester starts on June 22 so end of May seems reasonable

Hey everyone! If you applied to GCC check your emails! I got an email saying I am one of the 5 alternates :) and they said that if I don't get in fall 2015 then I am guaranteed a seat in spring 2016... keeping my fingers crossed that I get in this fall 2015 :D
