Ha ha thats right! Maybe. My college was closed that day of the horrible winds. We lost power too.

ya you can change your username once a year and you can put up an avatar! I want another tattoo and I am thinking of making it a phoenix so I found a few pictures and decided to change my username. Lol

Check your emails! I just got accepted!!! :yelclap::yelclap:

I didn't get an email either. Oh well. Sucks for us. :/ wow they made us wait this long. Oh well BSN for me!

Yeah it sucks.. I feel so discouraged. They should have at least emailed us if we didnt get in. I guess bsn for me too.. Unless I dont get accepted either :/

Hi :)

I was wondering what nursing program you ended doing? I'm planning on applying to PCC's ADN program for Fall 2012. Also, I saw that you posted under Huntington Hospitals New Grad program, do you know if its mostly BSNs they accept?

Thanks!

I don't know if you speaking to me but, if so, I got rejected from PCC. Don't bother applying unless you have a 4.0 in all pre reqs. I had one B in English, no repeats and As in all else and got denied. Oh well, guess it was not my school. I am hoping to attend a BSN program. I posted under huntington hospitals new grad program to get a feel of the applicant pool. I don't want to waste my time doing two years and get a ADN and all they accept are BSNs. I still have yet to get a straight answer. I plan to *hopefully* get accepted to CSULAs nursing program. I feel that I am competitive enough compared to the last two cohorts. I also applied to CSUSB, and CSULB. CSUSB is a toss up since they don't tell you how they exactly choose their people and CSULB changed their rules on me so I am disqualified, technically, but I am applying anyway. I am also applying to some CCs as back up. The hospital I work at has a mix of ADNs and BSN but a lot of the ADN people wish they would have done BSN. So who knows? That's my plan. Good luck applying to PCC. Fall is extremely competitive. Good luck!

Hey darkbluephoenix, thanks for the reply :) So far I have all A's for the pre reqs except Anatomy is a B :-/ Will this be your first or second bachelors? Also do you know of any other nearby cc's you'd recommend applying to? Oh yeah and I'm taking the TEAS V this upcoming weekend, any advice?

Good luck getting into PCC. Very competitive. Anyway. I'm applying to CCs such as RCC, citrus and chaffey. I don't have a bachelors. Teas is weird test, I took it twice and got an 84% the second time. It's expensive to take so that's my score.

Anatomy: B

Physio: B

Micro: B

Unfortunately I didn't get not one A in my science classes :/. Does anyone have any idea if i ever stand a chance to get in to the PCC nursing program with these grades?

Probably not. But I could be wrong. I had all As in science and a B in English and I didn't get in.
