Hey guys. I didn’t see anything on Parklands summer residency/internship so I wanted to start one. Hopefully we can keep each other updated on here if we hear back!

Does anyone know the starting RN 1 pay at Parkland after the residency is over? I know during the residency it is $24.50 an hour but I’m trying to find out what the increase in pay is after the training is finished.

Some RN 1 positions on Parkland's website don't require experience in the qualifications section, so is it worth a shot applying to those too? I still am waiting to hear back from the residencies I have applied to at Parkland and thought I would go ahead and apply to RN 1 positions as well

A general surgery floor will be med-surg. You will see everything and anything. Its a great area to get your feet wet as a new nurse.

I was just wondering if anyone’s applications every said “thank you for applying” ? I haven’t revived any rejection emails but that status is on one of my applications.

I recently intereviewed for Parkland and today my application status changed from "we are reviewing all applicants" to "offer in progress". I'm getting so nervous. Is that an indicative that they are extending an offer to me or overall, they are finalizaing offers for the candidates? Please, if any has any insights, please let me know ! Nervous nurse over here!
