Hey guys. I didn’t see anything on Parklands summer residency/internship so I wanted to start one. Hopefully we can keep each other updated on here if we hear back!

@NurseBisi I'm not entirely sure, but I believe it is like a internal medicine RN, maybe?? When I researched them, it kinda seems like you see patients in a clinic nurse sort of way... That's what I got out of it. Not necessarily a floor nursing role, I don't think.... But don't quote me on that!! Haha.

Hey I got an interview request from general surgery on 04/10. She had me send her dates and times I was available, but then 2 days later 04/12 I got an email stating: Unfortunately at this time the interviews for the General Surgery Residency have been placed on hold due to the number of applicants. We appreciate your interest in Parkland and we value you as a candidate. In the interim, if anything changes concerning this position I will contact you immediately.

Oh wow, okay thank you for the update! I just applied to the periop position that just opened up yesterday so hopefully that helps open more positions for more people
