Hey guys. I didn’t see anything on Parklands summer residency/internship so I wanted to start one. Hopefully we can keep each other updated on here if we hear back!

Does anyone know if they have started sending out the rejections for the Critical Care Nurse Internship program??

@NurseBisi I’m not too sure. I completely forgot to ask. I know they did interviews up until that Friday though.

I have an interview this week for the NICU and L&D nurse residency program! Any advice? I'm super excited but also a bit nervous?

Oh wow really? I thought they were done with NICU interviews and sent out offer letters already! Best of luck!

Parkland is so confusing! I've applied to at least three residencies and have not heard a peep! my status on hasn't updated or anything.

L&D, ED, and Neuro! I have friends at my school who applied and haven’t heard anything! Anyone know if or when they will open residencies for OR?

I applied for L&D and ED too as well as NICU and mother/baby & im confused cause it seems like everyone is hearing back from different units at different times & no one knows if positions are actually closed or still open

Parkland does not run its residencies concurrently. Each residency has its own coordinator and its own organized time on the calendar, so trying to gauge what is happening in one by looking at others will not yield anything useful. How many residencies happen per department per year depends on resources, department need and other factors.

Has anyone else heard back from the NIP since Monday? Still haven’t heard a yes or no.
