Parkland Residency Summer 2020

Hello everyone!

I created this thread for those who are interested or applying to the residency program at Parkland for the summer 2020. I'm hoping this thread is helpful for those wanting to talk and ask questions. Good luck to everyone!

Pretty sure a lot of offers were made today. Depending on whether some of those offers are rejected, more offers can come in the next few days. Good luck all

were you made an offer or just asked for references?

I was interviewed last week and wasn't given an offer....yet! Someone who interviewed on the same unit as me was called today though and they're giving them a short time frame to accept or reject so that they can continue to offer as positions remain open

I was asked for a list of references for the neuro PCU. I am hoping this is a good sign.

Do you know if these were official offers? The nurse manager from the unit called and offered me a position and said it was up to HR to finish the process, but I didn't officially hear from HR.

It was the recruiter that made the call, so I am not really sure. This was for critical care units (NPCU, BICU, etc)

So far I’ve only heard of L&D and the critical care units given offers. The ED interviewers also said 2 weeks and there were over 65 of us interviewed. So if any of y’all were one of them, stay hopeful ?
