Hey guys! Just wanted to start this thread for everyone who has applied to Parkland or who is thinking of applying! ?

I haven't received called from ICU, ED, or PCU yet. My application still says applied so IDK ?

I just received an email today stating I wasn’t moving forward in the hiring process which sucks because I was previously offered a job in their OR for the Spring 2021 residency but unfortunately didn’t pass my NCLEX so they told me to reapply.. and I thought I had a really good chance of getting another offer, guess not LOL  

 

but from what I’ve heard you should hear from a recruiter between now and the 16th (I think the 16th is their cut off day for extending offers)

Can anyone share their pay/hr? I haven't gotten the official written offer yet, so I don't even know my pay and they're asking for me to confirm in 48hr! 

I was offered $24.52 for their OR residency in the Spring

Whomever made this thread THANK YOU! I have so many questions and this helped. I thought it was weird they made you accept or decline the offer without seeing the official offer letter or was that just me?

I recieved an offer for Med Surg Trauma/General surgery. Anyone else? Anyone else hella nerves but oh so excited? LOL

Does the pay go up when the residency is finished? And if so, do you know how much it goes up to?

That's what I've been trying to figure out for a while. I know it does go up but I'm not sure how much. I've seen others say 27-28 on other allnurses threads from past years so I'm thinking it will be close to that.
