Hello. I wanted to make this space for those of us who will be new grads and have applied or will apply for the Parkland residency July 2023 cohort. I have applied and received an interview date (super excited!). Hopefully we can all connect and support each other here!
Reduscm said:I heard back from mother baby they did interviews last week. Not sure how many spots they have open. I also applied and L&D, NICU and NAT. Would love to hear back about the NAT position. Good luck!
Did you end up interviewing for mother baby? If so, what questions did they ask? I have an interview tomorrow for ER and I'm so nervous
Yes NAT stands for neonatal assessment team. They are at delivery and stay with. Baby for first 3-4 hours until admitted to mother baby.
@elann I would definitely be prepared to answer why Prkland? I know someone who interviewed for ED or ICU (can't remember) and they got a priority question
Hello everybody!!
I applied for parkland and did my interview for mother/baby. They said we should be hearing something this week. The waiting is so hard but wish us all luck!!
And @Reduscm thanks for explaining NAT LOL I remember them mentioning it during the interview but forget what it stood for. And also I heard that if we get hired we are hired under women service and then in the end of residency will have the option to select the specific speciality. ??

Thank you so much! I thought the interview went really well, but I knew they had so many applicants. Definitely know how to answer why Parkland and why the ED and show your personality. I felt like they were really easy to talk to so just try to be as personable as possible and you'll do fine. Good luck!

What is NAT? Is it Neonatal Admissions Team or something along those lines? I saw it and was curious!
