Parkland New Grad Med-Surg Fellowship Program

I applied to the fellowship program at parkland recently and would like to know if anyone else applied and recieved a call back.Any info would be great Thanks...:nurse:

I got a job offer today in neuro med surg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right after getting home from taking my NCLEX! That has to be a good sign right?!?! :yes:

Does anyone know how the fellowship listings are different than the residency's? Pay? Length of program?? I'm applying for the September start but can't get a hold of anyone at the recruitment office to ask!

I'm not sure but I thought they're the same. How did you find out they'll have one in September? I was told they could possibly have another residency for this fall but only if they need more people; otherwise, the next new grad program is not until January next year. I hope they have one this fall because a lot of my classmates are still looking for a job.

Awesome! Maybe we will see each other! The NCLEX was hard! ALOT of select all that apply, priority and peds! Ill find out this afternoon if I passed!

I called and talked with the recruitment office. I was told they have a September start but now you have me worried! I guess I'd better call back and double check. Searching this forum though, it appears they've had September starts in past years (search "parkland September").

I'm sure you passed @allicat.... Do you mind me asking which study aides you used? Did you do a review or just practice questions? I'm debating on doing a review because of the expense.

You will def meet my friend. How funny. The manager for the area hired 3 new nurses....

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. I'm pretty sure they'll have a Sept. internship. It looks like they need loots of nurses at this time. Good luck and I do hope you get to join us soon :)
