Parkland ER Nurse Residency 2012

I interviewed today, the last day. The mgr told me we would find out next week. Has anybody heard anything? How do you feel your interview went? Anyone know how many they are accepting? I have faith though! Think it went well. Who wants to play the waiting game with me? :yawn:

So 137 or so people interviewed, possibly. A lot! I see that some people who interviewed the first week have already received offers. I interviewed the first week but haven't heard anything yet. Trying VERY hard not to get discouraged since they told me they would not be in contact until after they finished ALL of the interviews.

I interviewed on Friday, but there was only 7 people on the time slots. So just because the there were that many spots, doesnt mean there were that many people who interviewed. I know some people who were set to interview, but declined due to other offers.

Agreed! As I understood it, offers were not to be extended until next week. I personally know of one exception -- a friend who has been an employee in the ER for a long time. Clearly there were other such cases. Not cause for alarm, I think.

I think until after this week I'm going to stay off Allnurses. My anxiety is getting BAD lol. :)

I interviewed Thursday November 3 at 1:15 and had an offer by 11:30 the next morning. They interviewed around 130 total and usually take about 20 or so. They made offers over the phone so keep that nearby this coming week! Residency starts Jan 9 and paperwork stuff starts the first week of December. Good luck everyone!

Well I don't know if they actually interviewed 130 just because that was how many time slots there was. Because I know on my day it was only 7. I seen the sign in sheet.

Good morning, y'all. I received a call and email shortly after 8 a.m. with a job offer for the ER. I accepted. The call shows up as "unknown". I hope to hear more of the same from you all! I interviewed Friday, btw.

I'm sorry, sweetie. Please don't give up hope. I was hesitant to post about it, but that is why we are all on this board -- trying to figure things out. It's still early yet.

I'm still praying. But only God knows what's best for me despite what I think is best for myself. If all else fails I do have an interview at another level I trauma facility for their ER internship on Wednesday. So I'll be okay. I just prayed for each and everyone on this board who has gotten accepted so that you may all progress and prosper! This is the very reason why I made this post, so that we can be informed and that others may united who have been accepted. I have no hard feelings towards things not going my way :)
