Just starting a thread for Parkland Dallas! Has anyone heard back about anything?

We are still reviewing resumes for the L & D nurse residency and scheduling interviews. You will hear from me even if you are not selected for an interview.

Hi Everyone

Let me explain. We first consider our BSN candidates for our residencies and then once we exhaust the stack of BSN, we start reviewing our ADN candidate, depending on the area you applied to. If you were invited to interview you will be or have been considered for a position based on your interview. So I am retracting what I have said in previous emails about hiring ADN, we do but the percentage is very low when it comes to our residencies. For those of you that received or will be graduating with an ADN, don't be discouraged your investment will pay off, nurses are always needed. I just know from talking to other major hospitals they are wanting that magnet status and that requires a certain percentage of BSN nurses in order to accomplish that goal. I am sorry for the misunderstanding and good luck with you current Job Search.

I accepted an ED Position a few days ago! I am beyond thrilled about this opportunity and can't wait to meet y'all. Good luck to those who are still searching, but do not put your heads down. Nurses are always needed! You can and will do this. God has a plan for y'all. Best of luck!!

I interviewed for Surgical Specialties this past Monday and got an offer from them as well! What a crazy process this has all been but definitely worth the wait!
