2016 parkland critical care trauma nurse internship

Unlike past years this years internship doesn't have a thread I noticed so I wanted to make one for people who were getting interviews and such for the internship to communicate. Hopefully this helps facilitate any questions people may have too.

Wow @heyjack you have a tough decision to make! Do you have a deadline for the position?

I have until tomorrow (Friday) to make a decision on Baylor CVICU (they offered yesterday, so 2 days to make a decision) and until Monday the 4th for Parkland and Methodist Dallas. All of them were really great people who I would love to work for, I just have other goals in mind.

Has anybody else or anyone you know received an offer from parkland? Do they send them all at once usually?

I also received an offer! I know of four other students in my class with offers as well. Deadline to accept is Monday so I'm sure more offers will go out then!

HI everyone! I also interviewed for the CCNIPP, did the math exam, background/credit check thing, and then this morning got an email that said "Thank you for your continued interest in Parkland. Your resume has successfully moved to the next stage for review". Hmmm .. anyone else get one like that??

Hi, I'm in my last year of nursing school and am very interested in this internship. Once you are accepted, when does the internship begin? I would like to know how much time I have to take the NCLEX. How long does the internship last? Is it correct that once you are hired, you are under contract for three years? I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone who reads this!

Yes, there’s a forum called Parkland Summer 2019 and several people heard back today.
