Palomar/Mira Costa Fall 2021 ADN

Published

Hi everyone!

I am applying to the ADN programs at Palomar and Mira Costa for Fall 2021. I wanted to make this for other students who are also applying! Share any info you'd like.

No, they send them out in batches. So I'm holding onto hope that I can get into Palomar RN.

oh I see. this is for both mc and palomar?

Yeah I think so. I think both places should finish sending out acceptance and rejection letters by the end of May or something.

Same, I've been trying to get into a program for like 2 years or so now LOL. Im just hoping I can get into Palomar. We gotta have hope though!

I got an alternate spot at MiraCosta. If something doesn't open up by August I'm given a spot in January. I wish I knew more about Palomar...I'm not sure if it's worth waiting to have the spot in January at MiraCosta.

That's good that you got alternate! Do you have to reply by a certain time? How many points did you apply with?

My points were in the mid 90's and I have a master's degree with an undergrad from UCSD. If you are feeling bad about not getting into MiraCosta I really wouldn't. I think it'd be easier for me to get into a graduate program or PA program than MiraCosta

I have to reply by June 1st if I want to keep my alternate spot

That’s crazy! Makes me feel better. I have applied there with 92 points the last two semesters and been denied.

Thank you! Wow! That's crazy that you only got alternate with such high points! It's crazy how hard it is to get into these programs.

Same here, I got an alternate spot at Miracosta and have a bachelors, second language, military spouse and As and good TEAS score. Crazy!! I wonder how many alternate spots there are and what the likelihood of starting in fall would be.

Are you planning on Miracosta? Everyone seems to have such high scores. With my 85 pts, IDK if I'm getting in.
