I got into Miracosta! So I'm giving up my Palomar spot. For those of you on waitlists, do not give up! I know there is an email going out soon to a few more Miracosta alternates ?

They let some people know about getting in and standby today and I bet more soon too. I think I'm going to give up my spot too and hold out for my top choice. Good luck everyone!!

Just got my Palomar email, I'm on the alternate list. Ugh alternate lists for both Palomar and Miracosta. Does anyone know how likely it is to get off the alternate list?? Congrats to everyone who got in!

No, Palomar sends in batches at least...not sure about Miracosta

Same here, I got an alternate spot at Miracosta and have a bachelors, second language, military spouse and As and good TEAS score. Crazy!! I wonder how many alternate spots there are and what the likelihood of starting in fall would be.

I hope you get at least one! I know, I am refreshing my email so much, it's killing me!! Same here. So competitive here!!

For anyone still waiting for a response from Palomar, have faith! This is what Jena replied to my inquiry if everyone accepted is notified on the same day: Not all students receive notifications on the same day. The process will take several weeks to complete. All students will receive notifications by the end of May.

That's so good! Congrats! I'm about the same, I calculated 88-89 for mine..I'm dying to know the range accepted and am refreshing my email constantly, ha

oh wow I'm freaking out now after reading these comments....fingers crossed for us all that haven't heard back yet! I believe I have 96 points if I calculated correctly but it sounds like that might be the norm!

I applied to MiraCosta and Palomar. On the websites it says they notify end of April for MiraCosta and end of May for Palomar but I'm drying to know!! I hope it is soon
