PALOMAR/MIRA Costa ADN Programs 2022

Updated:   Published

Hey everyone I wanted to start a thread so we can support one another /ask questions for those of us who are applying to an ADN program 2022 Spring with Palomar, Mira Costa, Grossmont!

Does anyone know how many students they're accepting now after Covid? I heard its a little less competitive for Spring Vs fall!

I’m sure they’ll send out more emails this week, either today or tomorrow. Palomars gotta start getting the ball rolling especially with people getting other emails from other schools, spots will start opening up, plus the mandatory meeting is at the end of this month so they’ll need the final people within the next 3 weeks.
I’m sending you happy thoughts & good vibes! ?

I'm struggling with the wait too (for grossmont)

I have heaed rejection emails have been sent, so I'm holding onto the fact I haven't gotten that email yet.

Rejection emails from Grossmont? Or Palomar?

Oh it is?? I didn’t know that (about the mandatory meeting). It took me almost a month to get a rejection email from Palomar last application period so that’s probably why I’m getting so anxious. But yes, I’m trying to keep good vibes too?

I specifically heard about grossmont. Sounds like some people who had lower points got emails right away that their score was too low for admission. I assume palomar is going about it in a similar way.  I know grossmont only gives applicants 48 hours to accept their seat.

Yes, November 29th is the scheduled mandatory orientation according to the acceptance email.

I just realized you got your acceptance email during the first round. Congrats! That’s so exciting

I didn’t apply to Grossmont, but I haven’t gotten anything from Palomar yet

I got accepted into Palomar last Wednesday (Oct. 27th). My email said that I had until today, November 2nd, to accept my seat. I'm assuming the next round of acceptances will go out within the next few days.
