Just wanted to make a thread for fellow applicants at Palomar College Nursing Program for the Fall 2025 semester. I applied, it's my first time applying. I think if they count all my points I will be at 89 points. I applied at Mira Costa as well, but as many of you know, the lottery system is a complete gamble. 

So far, I have received an email that my application had been accepted and the email specified that they hope to be issuing decisions by mid-April to may.

Hi everyone! I also applied to Palomar with 81 points if they give me all of the points LOL... I'm so scared! I just got my rejection from Mira costa. My friend got in though! I really hope I get into palomar since is my last school im waiting for 😞

Hi All! Decided to jump on this thread. I just got the update that was sent to everyone from Palomar. But for those who applied to miracosta, I got a response. I'm on the waiting list! Wishing you all truly the best of luck! Will keep yall posted if yall would like 🙂

Hi 🙂 first of all congrats a win is a win LOL! Also im confused I thought there was no waiting list since is a lottery system? I didn't get in--  

This was my email: 

"Each semester, MiraCosta College accepts approximately 20 students from a large number of applications to its registered nursing program. Unfortunately, you were not accepted for admission into the Fall 2025 program cohort. You are invited to re-apply when the application period for a future semester is open. Please review the college website for future application deadlines and related information. Best wishes as you pursue your educational and career goals." 

I still have hope with Palomar!! I am so scared!

Hi! I was confused about this too. But my email stated that if someone does not accept their admission, that I may be able to get that spot and attend Fall 2025. I will be contacting them tomorrow for more clarification but I was invited to attend orientation essentially. I'll def keep yall posted tho if interested

Just got my acceptance letter for fall 2025 at 10:52 I had 96 pts if everything counted

Congratulations, that's very exciting! My friend got his acceptance as well, also in the high 90's.
