have any of you used or have a palm pilot? I've been told by MANY college students this is an electronic essential when it comes to organization and note taking. Its much lighter and more convenient then a laptop. Also you can fit the keyboard and palm pilot in your pocket (the keyboard folds nicely). This is a pic of one. I'd like to hear some input
I went to OfficeMax and they had the Palm m500 on sale. It was only $199- $100 off!!!! So DH said to go ahead and get it. I got the keyboard and a carrying case. I also got the service warranty for two years- it will cover it in case it drops..... I am so excited about my new toy! I am going to practice so I can take notes using it. My classes start Monday evening. I can't wait!
i use my computer calendar for dates and events alert and i have a two-year planner that i carry around with me. in my purse, i have a smaller planner.originally posted by mkuehow can you type on something soooo small? i would really like to have one to keep track of dates, appt. tests.. etc.. football games etc.. i use a datebook now.
i'm just getting used to a cell phone..lol. the buttons are so small.

You can get a keyboard that works with the PDA's. From what little I understand, they fold up to the size of the PDA. I believe that if yours doesn't come with an alarm, there are free programs that do, I've seem them. Good luck!
