Palm PDA Question

Is there a way to change the Palm synchronizing settings? Every time I synchronize my desktop with my Palm it seems to take three hours to finish synchronizing.

go into your documents to go, if you have files in there it will auto sync unless you tell it other wise

Mine was doing that, too. I made my computer-savvy husband fix it, so I'm not certain *exactly* what he did. But, it looked like he went into the Palm program on my PC and deleted out a lot of stuff that didn't need to be updated. That prevented it from trying to update stuff I *never* use, like the bluetooth function. Now it goes pretty fast again.

if you haven't solved this here's how to cut down the hotsync process. Click on the hotsnyc icon on the system tray (lower right)> click custom then double click on each conduit and select do nothing on conduits that you don't use > check the set as default to save that setting. I set mine not to do a backup (takes the longest time), sync expenses/media/versamail/addit. But make sure you enable the bakcup once in a while.
