Palm Beach State- Fall 2017

As you all know, the application will be opening up soon for admission into Palm Beach State, and I wanted to get this forum going to help guide us. There are things in question like how many points were admitted for the previous term, and whether Belle Glade or Lake Worth is a better option for an individuals need. I just wanted to open this up so that we may discuss our common concerns so that we can move forward step by step. I did take the HESI and scored a 83 on my first try and am currently contemplating whether I should retake it or apply as is. Nonetheless, I just wanted us all to come here and discuss anything of concern :)

Have you received a confirmation email that says your application has been processed? The other PBSC threads that I've visited mentioned such an email but I haven't received one. My points haven't showed up either and I'm so anxious.

Neither the email nor the points have shown up for me. Yet, every time I go check on the application process, they tell me that the application in the system and everything is on track. They did mention a while ago that the people who review these applications were short staffed so that may be a reason why it's taking so long. Anywho, the application sheet said 3-4 weeks so we are still within the time range. Please keep us updated if you do see any change in your status though.

Someone called the office and they said that they are behind and that there are no confirmation emails this time around only acceptance or denial and that we won't find out until the latest July 7th

update: now it is july 10th. and I finally got my points today

What do you mean it's July 10th? Did you guys get an email saying it was the 7th?

Yes and now it is moved to the 10th. Check your spam mail just in case

This is kindaaa messed up how it's taking so long. But strange because I don't have the second email (just checked spam). And I also had my points put in on the 2nd. On the 2nd I got an email saying to check my points and make sure everything is right and to let them know by the end of that day and that a decision will be made by the 7th. Yours just showed up today? Did U get an email on the 2nd saying the same thing as mine?

I didn't see any emails at all about what is going on. I just called and they told me it is taking a little longer because of the amount of people applying

They told someone else the reason it is taking so long is because they didn't ever start looking at them until 2 weeks after deadline, and yes I believe I got it on the 2nd

I called this morning and was told that they are plowing through the applications still. I haven't received neither an email nor have my points been entered. There were several hundred applicants. Patiently waiting...
