Palm Beach State- Fall 2017

Published

As you all know, the application will be opening up soon for admission into Palm Beach State, and I wanted to get this forum going to help guide us. There are things in question like how many points were admitted for the previous term, and whether Belle Glade or Lake Worth is a better option for an individuals need. I just wanted to open this up so that we may discuss our common concerns so that we can move forward step by step. I did take the HESI and scored a 83 on my first try and am currently contemplating whether I should retake it or apply as is. Nonetheless, I just wanted us all to come here and discuss anything of concern :)

Hi! I will also be applying to the program for fall 2017. I just took my HESI today, but plan on taking it one more time before the application is due to try to bring up my score. I scored an 86 today.

Have you attended any of the nursing information sessions yet?

Yes, I actually applied last semester but missed it by like .3

Oh wow ! Do you mind me asking how many points it was that you applied with ?

I just tried to find the email, but I believe I had 22.89

I think the cut off was 23.3 or something?

Yeah, for this semester the cut off was 23.18. Hopefully you'll score higher and get within the point range you need!

My HESI just gave me one more point, so I should have 23.89 now! We'll see! May try taking it one more time before June. Are you applying for the full time lake worth program?

We literally have the same points, lol I think we'll be fine ! At the session the median was 24.00 points. I'm applying to the one at Lake Worth, what about you ?

I hope we get in! I'm also applying at lake worth

I'll soon be getting my Bachelors in Behavioral Healthcare and am shopping around for an accredited BSN schools. I am highly considering Palm Beach State, but I'm not finding much here regarding students that have actually completed to program.
