Pace University FNP Fall 2020

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to start the post on this forum for Pace University's FNP Program this upcoming Fall of 2020. I have not seen many posts about the program over the years, I'm hoping to get a few responses or help others who may have the same questions as me. Just curious if anyone heard back from the admissions office whether or not they have been accepted to the program or will there still be a scheduled interview (assuming online or phone) at this time. I submitted my application on the last week of the deadline (March 1st) and have not heard back for an interview or acceptance. I have been checking my status, but there are no updates.

Currently we are all dealing with a tough situation, I hope we all get through this soon and wishing everyone to stay well and safe.

Hello. I also applied to Pace Fnp program for the fall 2020. My application status has not changed from submitted. 2 weeks ago it indicated that I was missing two transcripts but I resolved that and still nothing. I did see on their website that registration for graduate class is April 13...

I know they’ve accepted people into their program. I have a friend who applied early and she got her acceptance letter about 1 month ago

Thank you for your reply! I had the same situation too where they mentioned I was missing my transcript, but I clarified it was already uploaded. I hope we hear back soon! Congratulations to your friend! Did she have an interview?

Hi all!

I also applied (back in January) and haven’t heard anything back. I emailed one of the admissions reps on March 11th, and he told me that the program was still reviewing all of our applications and said I could expect to hear back “hopefully in the coming weeks”...

that being said, that was before COVID-19 shut the whole city down ?

I called last week asking for a status on my application. I was told that they are still reviewing applications and I should get an email with the decision in a couple weeks. So let’s see

Hi all!

I still have not yet received an email from Pace yet, but when I checked my application status on their portal and clicked "My Info," I went from seeing only my mailing address to having a pace username, email, and university ID for me. I'm not sure if they would do that for those who did not get accepted, but give it a try and see if you all have the same thing. Hopefully we got in!

CONGRATS! it sounds like you got in. Have you tried logging in or are you waiting for the official email? I checked and mine has not changed, I still see my mailing address. Hoping that I get in!

Thank you cellen! I just received my acceptance letter via email! The email will said "We have completed the review of your application for admission to Pace University. Log in to your application status page to view your admission decision at this time." Inside your application status page under "Home," it'll say status update. And there now will be 3 tabs, Home --> Next Steps --> Info. Hopefully you hear back very soon!! Have you heard anything about the program from previous peers? I do not know too much about the program. Does it prepare well for the boards and do students like the program? Was your friend able to select classes yet? Sorry for all the questions!

Just waiting and seeing what happens next for me. I don’t know about the program and I don’t know anyone who has been in the program. I have only spoken to my friend to check up on her. Covid is hitting all of us hard. CONGRATS again! I’m sure it’s a great program

Hey,

I did not apply to the FNP but the PsychNP, I have not heard anything yet, I applied since February. Hopefully I get in.
