Pace University ABSN Spring 2021

Hi! I wanted to start this forum for people applying to Pace University's ABSN program for the Spring 2021 session. Best of luck to all of us!

Hello! I know this is late notice but I have my interview tomorrow and I was wondering what the atmosphere is like? Is it formal? informal? What do they expect from your answers? How long did the overall interview take? I AM REALLY NERVOUS FOR TOMORROW. I don't know what questions to ask them afterwards!!

Hello Hello!! 

I am curious, I have my interview tomorrow! I don't know if the conversation will be formal or informal so I am nervous because I don't know what is going to happen tomorrow! I also don't know how many questions I should ask them after the initial interview is over. Congratulations btw! woop woop!!

Try other schools, NYU, Mercy, many ABSNs in NY. Good luck!

Hey everyone! Congrats to those who got accepted. I interviewed on Oct 6th and was waitlisted a week later. I personally know the things that got me waitlisted. e.g my grades in some science prereqs. However, I am grateful to have even made it thus far. I am staying optimistic!! Admissions told me they will continue to keep me updated.

Hi everyone! 
I was accepted in mis October and paid for the deposit. However, Im not too sure about Pace ABSN. Still waiting on other schools like NYU and Rutgers. Pace sent out an email that we had to finish certain things before December 1 and I don't know if I should pursue pace. Any body and any advise? Thank you so much!

@krismSo I am also waiting on NYU and Mercy, but I got into 2 other schools in Texas. I actually decided to go to Pace, mainly because the length of the program. I'm 28 so I'm trying to get it done as fast as possible. I would love to go to NYU if I got in, but I can't justify the cost compared to Pace (and Pace isn't cheap to begin with). Mercy is 18 months and that's just way too long for me. I don't know anything about Rutgers though. Just my thoughts!

Totally understand. However, I’m quite the opposite and I believe a 15-18 month program would be less rigorous than a 12 month I’m not in a rush, just finished my first undergraduate at 21. I just don't want to start all those requirements pace needs by December 1 and I still haven't received a decision by NYU. So confused as of what to do.

By any chance would you know when NYU should send out notifications? Thanks!

Hey guys, does anyone have any information on the attrition/retention rate of the 11-month ABSN program for Pace? I just started looking into the reviews of the program and found some pretty mixed reviews.. anyone know past students with thoughts of it? I'd be very grateful to hear their input.

A few months ago. I got my application reviewed in September and was informed I was waitlisted.
