Hi all! I wanted to start a thread for people applying to Pace University's Accelerated BSN program for the spring of 2019 - I haven't found one yet! I'd love to chat with others who are applying!
hey kb7291,
the interview was different thats for sure. i liked the campus, so thats good. basically u go into a room (20 students). Then they took attendance and we took the math test (10 minutes). Then they gave an index card to us and told us to answer 2 questions. They never collected them though and each student got up and answered the questions one by one. Everyone was timed and had 2 minutes. After that it was Q&A and that was it. Good luck!
Hi everyone!
Has anyone else received an email for an interview date or decision?? I applied in May and I have yet to receive anything. I spoke to someone in admissions on Friday 9/28 and advised they will be making decisions for two more weeks. It's already been almost a week, and nothing, I'm so anxious! I just wanted to know if anyone else has heard anything ?!?! aside from everyone who interviewed on the 2nd
Hi all, unfortunately I didn't get in but it's all ok. My application last week changed to decision made and received the rejection letter on Monday.
I got 2 C+ on my science prereqs (the rest A's and B's) so I knew the odds weren't good, but wanted to apply to see. I am going to retake those two and try again next year. I spoke to admissions and they said that was the reason.
Just wanted to mention my situation for people who are questioning their own, cause I know being rejected sucks but it may help others who have applied or are planning to apply.
Not giving up! Good luck to everyone else though!!
MJSfuturenurse: I know you know this, but you're going to be fine! You have such a good attitude about moving forward which is great! That's all we can do sometimes, right? It's so easy to get discouraged but we've gotta fight through that to get to the good stuff...if we all gave up when discouraged or "denied", we wouldn't get anywhere :) (I'm more saying this "out loud" to remind myself of it all, haha). I haven't heard anything yet; I did do well on most of my prereqs but my undergraduate grades (from ten years ago!!) weren't too great so I'm worried that might sway the decision. AHHHHHH

I hope the interviews went well for everyone! If you're willing to share the format that would be so great!
