Pace University ABSN Fall 2021

Published

Hi everyone, decided to start a thread for the Fall 2021 cohort since one wasn’t created yet. (Super early, I know LOL) I was accepted for Fall 2020 but decided to defer. Would love to connect with those who’ve applied/been accepted.

Hi - my first post. I submitted my application on February 1st (under the wire!) and just checked today. The line about my application being under review has disappeared since I last checked (at the end of last week), though the checklist is still there. It now simply directs me to include my application ID in any correspondence with the Admissions office.

Whether I receive an acceptance or rejection, I hope that this change means that I'll hear something soon!

It seems like people received emails the day that the line about their application being under review disappeared? Any insight much appreciated!

Did you hear back mine went away to

No email and no additional change to my portal. My checklist is still there and the line about including my ID in any correspondence with the Office of Graduate Admissions is still there, too.

Hope you have some positive change sometime soon!

Hopefully, we make it! Good luck ?

I'm new to this thread. For the people who got accepted, do you guys mind sharing your stats? Thanks.

hi! I was accepted a couple of weeks ago and I decided to not accept due to financial aspect of this program. my stats were 3.0 undergrad chem, 3.4 masters in engineering, all A's for pre-reqs except B+ in micro and stats, I wrote about my experiences that led me to pursing a nursing degree (changing career), I also volunteered at a hospital, my lor's were from a coworker/supervisor at work and a family friend who was a nurse.

good luck! ❤️❤️

Thanks so much for sharing ?

Did anyone on here get into the program who’s application changed and didn’t hear back the same day but a couple days after?

I just spoke to someone from admissions, I was told that 'the department is still sending out decisions it is still quite early in the decision process being that it has only been a little over a month since the deadline..'  so no different news than before. ugh.

Hey, thanks. Let's keep updating each other as the weeks go back.

Thanks for the update, @lyd116 and others. It seems like they've already sent out a bunch of acceptances for people with very strong stats. Mine aren't so, so perhaps I'm toward the bottom of the pile and they're holding on the possibility of accepting/rejecting me as they work their way through more qualified applicants!

The wait is very challenging when they don't give any timeline. I wish that we at least knew that we'd be notified by a specific date, no matter what happens.

Thanks to all for continuing to update, and will do the same.

There are still other schools in the area with a fall start that haven’t sent out decisions or have only sent out a few so far (ie NYU and Downstate), so I’m wondering if maybe they’re holding off because they anticipate people dropping out of the program in order to go to another. Good luck!
