Pace Fall 2014 ABSN

Hi There,

I've applied for the ABSN program at Pace for Fall 2014 and recently was notified that I needed to attend an interview. Does anyone have any insight as to what to expect at the interview? Anyone else applying for Fall? Any current or past students available to offer insight on the program? Also, is admission determined on rolling basis?

I just got an email informing me that I'm wait listed. It says I've been placed at rank 16. Does anyone know what that means? Good luck to all!

apparently they do. I'm a little bummed out; I was totally hoping to get accepted (obviously!).

Has anyone else heard anything today?

I'm sorry hun! It's totally much better than a rejection letter, that's for sure! I'm sure other people will deny and go to another school. Did they tell you when they'd update you and stuff?

They just said they would update me asap as space becomes available.

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! Unfortunately, I received a phone call from them last week (after much back and forth!) informing me that they will not accept my psychology class because it is a 200 level class and they are looking for a 100 level class. Very, very frustrating. I understand that rules are rules, however they didn't let me know until over a month after submitting my application and me constantly calling to find out the status.

lizjcruz - This means that as student decline an acceptance, they will pull from an ordered wait list. !6 isn't too bad. You're toward the top of the list. It is nice that they give you your rank. I am waitlisted at Columbia but they don't tell you your rank :unsure: Stay hopeful!

If get accepted they put you in the 1 or 2 yr program as they see fit. I'm definitely in the 2 yr so I have to just be happy I got accepted. Who knows maybe I will be better off in the 2 yr even though that's not what I wanted since I am older starting this career.

Thanks; I'm totally trying to remain positive! So sorry to hear they won't accept a 200 level class. So strange b/c you would assume they would accept the highest level taken. Good luck on Columbia! This whole process has me crazy with anxiety. I don't remember feeling this way the first time around (but I was a lot younger then- ha!)

I mean wait list is def better than being rejected so I say keep your hopes up!

I read somewhere in the previous year's thread that if there are no spots available for fall sem for waitlist, they will even put you to spring semester.

I think that was from 2012 so I dont know if things changed but you should definetly call them tomorrow and ask!
