  1. LadyFree28 I love the success series! I purchased the pharmacology and test success books. Thanks the suggestion!
  2. Thanks LadyFree28. I'll look into the success series. I have very limited amounts of questions. Doing more questions would definitely help.
  3. Thanks caliotter3. I don't want to give up on this program just yet. I feel like I can do it I just need to tweak my approach, study and test taking skills.
  4. Thanks Rose_Queen. The study question says I'm an auditory and a visual learner. So I'm trying my best to figure out the adjustment I need to make. I feel like I can do this I just wasn't doing it the right way before. However I do not want to get dismissed from the program. I haven't found too many people that I benefited from studying with but I'lol keep searching.
  5. Hi everyone, I just completed my first semester in an ABSN program and I just learned that I have been placed on academic probation for the next semester. I was completely devastated and now I'm very nervous. I only missed the cut off GPA by .01. I think my first problem is that I study very hard but possibly not in a smart way and I am also a very poor test taker. I always pick the wrong answer when I am between two or I panic and don't read the question and answers correctly so I pick something completely wrong. Has anyone been in my shoes and can offer any help? I just don't want to mess up this next semester or else I'm out of the program. I reached out to a few tutors so I'm hoping that they will be able to help.
  6. Is everyone excited/nervous for orientation this week? I can't believe it's here already.
  7. What feedback are you receiving from other students catri2007?
  8. The test was fine. We had an hour for it but it took me 35 min. They only email within a couple of days if you have to take it over so I haven't heard anything so I'm assuming I passed. I'm doing the cpr class on monday. I got the scrubs but I have to buy the books. Good luck on your exam!
  9. Oh good, so am I :)
  10. Are you in the one or two year program? And where did you get your book? I too am looking forward to meeting everyone :)
  11. sorry petunia03, I haven't been on this site in a while so I didn't see your questions. I got all of the information from the welcome packet we were sent via email about a month ago. I am taking the cpr course on Jul 21 and I completed the drug and background check as well. The calculation exam was not bad at all. I thought it was going to be worse. I had been preparing for about a month so that made me feel prepared. did you take the exam already?
  12. I'm taking the test June 30 at 2pm. Is anyone else taking it that day? I printed out the booklist but I haven't purchased any yet. Have you? I just paid for the background check and drug screening.
  13. What dates has everyone picked the clinical calculations exam?
  14. I too have mt sinai for psych. It is the one in NYC around 100th st because I asked Tiffany. Did you purchase the kit and scrubs yet?
  15. Has anyone been registered for classes yet?
