Pace Fall 2014 ABSN

Hi There,

I've applied for the ABSN program at Pace for Fall 2014 and recently was notified that I needed to attend an interview. Does anyone have any insight as to what to expect at the interview? Anyone else applying for Fall? Any current or past students available to offer insight on the program? Also, is admission determined on rolling basis?

Hey congrats on those that got accepted :)! For those that got in, were you guys able to check your Pace portal account to see if Pace received all your official credentials like what they mentioned in the email, cause somehow I can't find that on the portal. Unless it's cause I didn't pay for the deposit

@yw1013, are you referring to their evaluation of your undergrad courses for transfer credit towards the Pace degree?

not that one. I emailed the lady who sent out acceptance letters and she told me that the evaluation is coming in the mail. But I asked her about the other official credentials that was mentioned in the email. However, she never wrote back to me. So I'm not really sure unless they are referring to the same thing?

in my email it said that attached was an evaluation of my undergrad courses for transfer credit toward Pace - however, nothing was attached. I called them and then they sent me the attachment of my program analysis sheet.

About the portal, I logged in and it asks if you are choosing to go to Pace.. I didn't answer that question yet. I think what you are referring to (official credentials, etc) will show up once you confirm you are enrolling in Pace.

I never got an attachment too on my email. That's why I emailed the lady for it but she said they don't attach the evaluation in the email. So she never gave me one. But now you mentioned how you got it when you called them, I should call them too. Probably more efficient. Thank you!

yes definitely call again! its basically a sheet that shows your pre-reqs and undergraduate degree confirmation as being counted towards your Pace degree. what deadline did they give you to submit a deposit? they told me the 18th

Yeah, they told me the 18th, but I didn't pay yet cause I'm still waiting on Downstate( which is like taking for ages). I just called them and they told me again they won't send me an online version of the evaluation sheet because they are only sending it out by mail, which is weird cause you got yours.

hmmm.. either way the program evaluation sheet you don't really need - it's just a confirmation of your pre-reqs / undergrad degree being counted. yep suny downstate is taking so long! though I had already decided weeks ago that I was choosing Pace over them

I don't know anyone that has been rejected yet though? Maybe they're waiting for people to pay the deposit to see if there's space
