Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone, I decided to start a thread for Spring 2022 cohort. I noticed one Haven’t been created as yet. I have applied for Spring 2022 and is waiting on the review process. I would like to connect with existing students and those who have or will be applying.

marshmelo, I sent in my application on 8/29.  I actually had everything ready way before that but procrastinated on writing the essay for some stupid reason.

KayNei, I do feel like a weight has been lifted.  Actually, I was so nervous about having to continue to apply to these programs and take more prerequisites that I spent all day sitting by a marina/beach to realx myself.  I stayed until 8PM!  I brought a book with me but every time I picked it up to read it, I couldn't focus.  And then I came home, talked to my parents, and then went online and saw the great news!  There are no further requirements, but they give you an overwhelming list of Next Steps that includes sending your official transcripts, getting them your COVID vaccine info, health insurance info, setting up your Pace email and student account... even information on how to get a parking pass!  I won't even be parking there until January!

QKC, I received an email telling me that my application had been reviewed, and that I should look in my application for the decision.  I actually thought this sounded ominous because I figured if I made the program, they would just send an email that tells me so rather than have me go into my application to learn this.  But I logged online to the application and saw the acceptance letter.

Congratulations!

My acceptance letter was sent to me tonight.  I am so happy.

I applied to another school, they never opened my application, I was told misinformation from the admissions counselor, and felt the experience was rude.

At Pace. the admissions counselor made the difference.  He is really friendly and helpful.  The application process is easy to navigate.  It feels they are very transparent at Pace.  They immediately ask for a $300 deposit.  It was the happiest $300 I ever spent.  For all those others who make it who post here, I look forward to meeting you.  For those who do not hear the response they are hoping to hear, do not give up.  We all end up at the right schools for us.  I really believe that.

@mjg Congratulations!! What wonderful news. Do you mind telling us what your undergrad degree is  in/ your GPA? I'm concerned bc I'm afraid my GPA isn't the strongest although my pre-req grades are. And strong LOR + personal statement. If I receive that acceptance email - I'll be sending off that $300 within minutes LOL. It will be the best $300 I ever spend as well. The anticipation is eating me alive ahhhhhhhh. I shall be on the lookout for an email!

I submitted August 20th still haven’t heard back ??

Has anyone else received an acceptance? I’m super nervous.

My initial undergraduate GPA was a 3.78, but that included none of the prerequisites.  When I took the prerequisites, that GPA was a 4.0.

What is your undergrad degree in? Anyone else in the thread hear back? Good or bad?

I haven’t heard anything.

Hi, I applied at the end of August and still haven't heard anything.
