I know it's early, but is anyone else looking at Pace's ABSN program to start in 2013? I'm 90% finished with my prerequisites and just getting the pieces together to start the application process!

Mairayhans I'll shoot you an email, and if you guys want to add me to the FB group I can more easily help out from there (PM'ing here is tricky!)Congrats again-- you guys are gonna do great! :)

Sunshine&Mischief,
Thank you for your words of encouragement! I have to decide wether to go for the one-year or two -year program. Do you think the one-year program is doable? How many people get kicked out of the program in the first year or semester? I have 2 options, one is to quit my job and do the one year program and hopefully find a job right after graduation (not an easy thing I know...) or keep my job by working part-time and do the two-year program and in case I don't find a job as a nurse right away after school I can still have my job and maybe since I already work in a hospital I could apply for a transfer if there is a nurse position open. Sights... please advice...anyone?

congrats everyone!
When I went in to register they said you can transfer from the 1 to 2 year whenever if you are in good standing and you can transfer from the 2 to 1 year if you do it before the program starts. I can't find the facebook group either

Congrats everyone, especially mairayhans! I was so happy for you because I could sense you were really suffering from the wait.
Being employed at a hospital right now is a great advantage. Do what you feel most secure about, but I would vote for doing the 2-year program and keeping your hospital job. I am doing the 1-year program myself for my own reasons.
Hi Guys!
Thank you all for congrats! I had to turn the world up side down to make this happen and to actually being able to start school this year.... . That is the reason for all my suffering and paranoic. If you guys have trouble to find my facebook group maybe we can all decide to join kashe's group! and I will gladly join you as well! I am still deciding between the one or two year. Does anybody know if with the 2-year opcion you can keep a flexible 3 day in a row part-time job?
Now that I'm in the 2 year program I'm planning on stayin per diem at the hospital. Did u call and make your academic advisement appointment to make r schedule? I'm going next Friday so hopefully ill know how much I can work. Yea look for the group I made nobody joined it so far but I couldn't find yours M.
Is anyone going to be looking for apartments?
Hi Kashe,
I am joining your group! I will delete mine since it's already difficult to find anyways. I made my appointment for tomorrow at 3pm. I will let you guys know. I will decide tomorrow about doing it in 1 year or 2. By the way, I believe what you created is a page instead of a group/... I am having difficulty joining it... please check...
Okay I think I made a group now
what's the name of the group?
