Hi!
I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the fall 2020 ABSN program at Pace so we can go through this application process together!

No, sorry let me edit my response for clarity! I submitted my app on Jan 30th and I got my interview email on February 10th at 12:08 PM. Then I scheduled it for today Feb 18th at 11AM. There were still many open spots when I scheduled it but I’m not surprised they went so quickly.
A summary for those still waiting to hear: there is no math or writing portion. After waiting a bit in a lounge, they bring you to a small classroom for an extremely casual group interview. There is just a minute to jot down some notes on an index card in response to 2 questions and then another minute to answer both questions. You stand at the front of the classroom next to the panel of 3 faculty members but facing your peers as you answer. After everyone goes, they open the floor up for questions. Then they give you a brief tour of the labs where you would be practicing patient simulations, etc. It took maybe 25 mins total since there were only 8 of us in the 11AM group.

So from what I understand, they sent out 220 initial interview invitations (out of about 1400 total applications) and at the end of the interview cycle (mid March), if there’s any open spots and no one waitlisted they will send out more? There’s only 80 spots in the program though.

Where did you get these numbers from?

Do you think it would be too much to email the admissions person and ask them around when they think I could potentially hear back? Or should I just let them do their thing...
