Hey just wanted to start a thread for Pace’s ABSN Fall 2019 cohort.

Just wanted to contribute to the thread because it helped calm my nerves during this process.

I interviewed 3/26 @ 3pm and was waitlisted as well .

Here my time line :

-Applied 1/10

- Email to interview came on 3/20

-My application decision came in today to an email I don't recall giving to them.

Either way now the wait continues . I also applied to NYU so hopefully I hear back soon.

Would love to know if anyone got accepted since interviews wrapped up.

Thanks for your post! Congrats on being waitlisted too, hopefully we all get off the list. I also applied at NYU's priority deadline 3/1 and still waiting to hear from them. First round of acceptance was sent out last week to so hopefully we hear this week.

Congrats to those who were waitlisted! I was also waitlisted and I also applied to NYU priority... hopefully we hear back from both soon! Does anyone know how soon we're expected to hear back from Pace?

For those who applied to both Pace and NYU, which school are you leaning more towards? I interviewed at Pace the first day the interviews were offered, got accepted to both Pace and NYU. Please let me know which school you prefer to go to.

Congrats on your acceptances! I was leaning towards Pace (if I get accepted *fingers crossed*). The cost of tuition is definitely a major factor for me. I'm also from NJ so the commute would be much easier, even though it might not be so easy once we are given our clinical sites.

This is so helpful!! Thank you! I wonder if anyone from 3/26 got decision made instead of waitlisted. It seems like they are just giving our waitlisted people. Hopefully you get accepted if not there’s anyways NYU! Good luck!!!

Thank you! I agree about the tuition 100%. Are you planning on driving?

I was thinking of taking the Path to get to Pace since the train station is just a couple of blocks away. I'm not too sure if Pace even offers a parking deck, but I don't think it'll be worth the money spent on gas, tolls or meters. What school have you been leaning towards?

Congrats!!! They are both great schools. With Pace though, you finish in 12 months vs NYU in 15 months (correct me if I am wrong). Pace's tuition is also cheaper than NYU. Honestly, I don't know lol. If I get pulled off the waiting list at Pace as well as get accepted at NYU, I would have consider these options too.

I'm honestly not sure...I put down my deposit for Pace a while ago. I heard from NYU a week ago, but I'm really torn at the moment. I have a few more days to decide..

Just the price....it's a $40K difference, and I'm not sure if it's worth it.
