Pace ABSN Fall 2018

I am applying for the Pace ABSN Fall 2018 Program. I wanted to start a thread for anyone applying to the program because I realize how much information and support we can give each other. I applied to the NYC campus and plan to drop off my documents in person at the temporary office in a few days.

Hi everyone,

I just got an acceptance letter for fall 2018 ABSN program. I read lots of reviews about ABSN at PACE. Mostly students wrote even if you give 200% of your effort its really really hard! Lots of students drop out or fail in 1st semester. Not so good reviews about professors as well. Also someone posted a link where it shows whats the NCLEX pass rate. It was shocking to see since 2009 - 2016 there are only 2 - 4 students appearing for NCLEX from Pace. I was very excited to finish ABSN and become a nurse, but little scared after reading all those. Does anyone have any opinion or know any current students who are doing well or someone who did well?

@pooja99 I have talked to a student who just started this past January. She is at the Westchester campus. She said that it is extremely hard, just like any nursing program is going to be. That she feels like the teachers what them to do well. They did say in our orientation that they have a 100% pass rate for NCLEX for the ABSN program (one student passed on their second try). When did you interview?

Thank you for your response @Jessie02. I interviewed on feb 5th, 8:00 AM. Yes they say their pass rate is 100% but check this website how many people appeared so far. I don't know if its not true.

Yes I also find the NCLEX numbers quite disturbing. They admit about 68 student to the NY campus every year for ABSN but only 2-4 people take the NCLEX every year... That means only 5% of students graduate...

Anyone else get an email? I am going to call tomorrow to ask about the NCLEX scores and why only 5 people took them. Has anyone placed their deposit yet?
