Over 10% out sick. :(

What a week! So much illness. Flu, stomach virus, strep, etc.

I did report to our Principal my concerns about how many are out sick.

Do you do anything in particular with regard to extra cleaning from custodial staff when this happens? The truth is, our custodians aren't exactly proactive about sanitizing if you know what I mean. It's all I can do to have them pick up barf bags.

Is "buttering his bread" a euphemism for something else? Is that how to get him to do his job better?! The scandal!!
