Published

Hi

I am from out of state and looking for any diploma RN program in PA area. If anyone could tell me of any schools that has a short waitlist, not very hard to get into, low in cost has campus living for adult students and not a lot of prereq. It does not make a difference to me what part of PA it is in comming for out of state I am looking to relocate anywhere. If you could also list the website of the school that would be great.

bon aproved programs listed by type: pa nursing program list

There are several diploma nursing programs in the Pittsburgh area. UPMC has 3 of them I think and West Penn also has one. Just Google UPMC Nursing School or West Penn nursing school. There are also several Community College programs in Allegheny and the other surrounding counties. They aren't terribly hard to get into as long as you meet their requirements. I know Butler County Community College is completely GPA based. There are also a lot of hospitals in the area so finding a job shouldn't be terrible upon graduation. The pay is lower than in other parts of the country, but with the exception on a few parts of the city we don't have a terribly high cost of living either. Best of Luck in your search.
