Our Lady of the Lake College Alternate List

Hi has anyone been accepted off the alternate list for fall 2013 BSN traditional program yet for our lady of the lake college Baton Rouge,la? or know anything about the alternate list? REPLIES/COMMENTS WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!!

@futureRN015 Hi, I am a student at OLOL and will be applying for the Spring Traditional program. From many post I have seen on here it is very likely that students put on the alternate list will be accepted. It is good to know that you weren't denied like some people have been. If you don't mind me asking what was your gpa and the score you made on the TEAS???

@ sheika826 thanks for your reply, my gpa was a 2.8 at the time of application im at a 3.0 now, trying hard to bring it up higher my teas score was a 60% ..what is your gpa & teas?

@futureRN015 my overall gpa is 2.9 and my pre-req gpa is a 3.1, I am too trying to get my gpa up now thats why I'm doing summer school! My teas score was a 63.3%. Are you on the alternate list and do you know the average gpa and teas scores students have that are applying???

Yes Im on the alternate list...no I dont know the average all i kno is a gpa of 2.75 or above & teas of 58.7% or higher is recommended

Ok thats good. What grades did you make in A&p I & II, chem and micro. In addition, do you still have classes that you still need to take before you start if you get in??

AP I lecture C+, AP I lab B, AP II lecture B+, AP II lab B-, chem C+, micro lecture A, micro lab B, i'm finished with my pre-nursing classes
