OU Nursing 2020 (Traditional program)

Has anyone applied for OU traditional nursing program for Fall 2020? I just applied mine, and stressing out and wanting to know if anybody applied as well so I can discuss this with someone. I just want to know what is your overall GPA, and science GPA. My overall GPA is 3.93 and science is 3.6. I know OU nursing is competitive and I'm worried about my science GPA since that is the most important factor to get into their nursing program.

@truckinusa I heard it will be closer to mid-February before they start releasing decisions. It may be longer, it just depends on the volume of applications.

Hi all!
I applied to the Tulsa campus back in November, and I received a Conditional Acceptance in December. My overall GPA is 3.84 and my science overall is 3.75! I’m a little late to this thread, but good luck to everyone! Hopefully I’ll get to meet some of you when classes start in Fall at the Tulsa campus!

Hey, congrats! I also got conditional admit but for the OKC campus, I applied mine during December and got heard back in January. I didn't even know you could get in a little early , so I was so skeptical when I got the email lol.

My science GPA wasn't the strongest, so I wasn't even sure I'll get in, but bc I've mostly finished taking almost all prerequisites classes (expect for human Phys) at the time of the application, I think I was able to get an offer. And good luck to those who are waiting to hear back!

I was also very skeptical when I received my email. I didn’t think they notified anyone of acceptance that early. The only class I lacked taking was a history, which I’m doing this semester, and the Upper Division level course, but I started a self paced online one at Uark back in December.
The next step is getting all the orientation information which I was told is going to be held in early June (for Tulsa)!

Still saying pending for me. Definitely not their first choice I guess.

Mine still says pending also. My science GPA isn’t the strongest but I’m hopeful lol!

It sounds like I may have already been denied but just haven’t received the email. The admissions committee met last week. I am not 100% certain, but that is what I am assuming from the email I received when I enquired. I’m guessing the ones that got accepted have received their emails already and the ones like myself are yet to receive the denial email but it is coming.

Didn’t make it for OKC. Got accepted to Lawton, but I can’t drive that far so I’m not going to accept.
