OSU grad entry 2019

Hi! Is anyone else planning to apply to Ohio State's grad entry program, 2019 start date? I am checking every day, waiting for the application to be open! I am studying for the GRE (taking it 7/28) and trying to find someone to shadow. I'll be applying to the CNM track.

Everyone i know that has gone through the NNP program has made it. They keep changing the program though.

@NicugradRN do you know the average class size of the NNP program? Like do they have a cap size of how many get admitted?

@Justine8120 I don't know the average class size for NNP, but someone in admissions told me that the cap size for each speciality is dependent on the number of clinical placements they are able to secure each year, which apparently varies. If you have access to the course catalog though, maybe the enrollment capacity listed for NNP core classes would provide that answer. Not sure though.

Thinking of calling the graduate admissions office a little before 5PM just to see where things are at if no one's received an update by then.. Does that seem like an okay idea? It would be super nice to know but also don't want to be bothersome.

@NP hopeful I haven’t heard anything either! I checked at 2 and 5am ?. Hopefully we find out something today! I pray for good news for us all!

So I just called, a little earlier than planned lol. Someone in grad admissions said that the CON hasn’t sent the decisions over to them yet, but that they would be posted pretty quickly once that happens. Soo sounds like next week most likely :(

I figured nothing would be updated over the weekend but I couldn't help checking like 10000 times anyway Lol. Really hoping it'll be today.. When I called Friday, a CON staff member that I spoke with emphasized that it would be "very, very soon" and admissions said they would get them posted quickly so I don't know why it wouldn't be today, but who knows :(

Only a few more days at most though.. So close!
