hi..can i ask somebody here, have an idea about the training in ospital ng maynila or anybody who have been an experiences there.please share your experiences:)..sharing your experience is very much appreciated.thanks
no problem, just trying to help. i know how hard it is to find a job so we should all be helping each other.and so much for the drama,
:d:d i haven't heard of a weekend program. it's monday to friday for us. i think you have to complete the 320 hours to be issued the certificate.
well thank you. more powers!
Guys I just went to Ospital Ng Maynila earlier this Morning. It's true that they are still accepting Volunteer Nurses. And the good thing is that it is FREE, No charges whatsoever. It's a 2 month volunteer program after which you will take the exam and if you passed and based on your performance you will be hired as a Staff Nurse. They will also issue certificates for the program. Here' an updated list of things you need to submit:
1. Letter of Intent addressed to
Dr. Fidel C. Chua
Hospital Director
Thru: Mrs. Asuncion C. Balisado
Chief Nurse
2. PRC ID (Photocopied)
3. Credentials (Photocopy)
Hope all of us will make it. Hurry up cause 3 days from now another batch of graduates will be taking the board exams. Another set of competition for the hospital positions guys. GOD BLESS.
To all who undergone the 2months training, is it worth it? i mean is the experience good? are the staff and doctors good to deal with? are they strict about the costumes? and most especially, you guys said that there is an exam to take to know if you're qualified to be a nurse..um, can i know what's the scope of the exam? how many items it was? thanks....=)

hi.. does it follow that you when you submit the requirements, you will be scheduled right away? Or should you wait for days or weeks or so? thanks. =)
@Jesjay
I submitted my credentials last may 25 and the staff there at the nursing service told me to call them after 2 weeks since the papers will be sent to the hospital director for his initial, then checked by the head nurse, and lastly sent back to the hospital director for approval. If im not mistaken august will be the next batch after the current June 6 batch.

do you think you are included in august batch?
Hi ymcantiquera. Do you have a backer in Ospital ng Maynila. Why is it that I submitted my documents since Feb 9,2009. The one in charge of the nursing service office are saying that there are no available slots yet.They are still catering for last year's account.How come you tell us that you just submitted your papers last week and you are assigned this August.
