OSCE REVISION for NMC REGISTRATION

I am Wency, a registered nurse in the Philippines. I recently passed the IELTS (8.5, 7,7,7) and the NMC part 1 competency test which is the CBT. Now, I am preparing for the final test which is the OSCE. I am currently in the United Kindom particularly in Lincolnshire, and I would like to ask you guys if you know a training agency in the UK that provides training or preparatory course for OSCE because I am not confident to take it yet for some reasons that the Uk healthcare system is different from the Philippines perhaps they have different approach in providing care to the patients and etc.

Tuition fee for intensive revision for OSCE is not a problem as long as I can enroll for revision.

I am also an American nurse. My OSCE is scheduled for this Friday. I am so nervous and ready to be done! Any last minute tips from anyone would be great! I do not want to have to pay to take it again!

Hi Kiriann - sorry to hear you've had a rough time with NMC and the OSCE. I was born in the UK but trained in NZ so have had to go through the same overseas process as you. I have my OSCE booked 19th August and reading this am not quite anxious - whereabouts in the UK are you? Are you near Peterborough by any chance?

I am will be joining a private hospital in London as a Theatre nurse soon. WIll have to take the OSCE exam soon. Wondering do private hospitals in UK support Pre-PIN international nurses with training?

Hi Guys! My name is Kenny and I'm already in UK for my NMC OSCE in Northampton this coming July 29, 2016. I'm still quite anxious as the NILE resources i feel i still lack some of the necessary skills (care planning and UK Standards of clinical skills) as I have not practised my profession for 3-4 years now but managed to pass through the IELTS and CBT already.
