Okay so this is difficult to explain BUT I have seen nurses carry around a sheet of paper and put down all their patient rooms and like the times that certain meds are due or certain procedures. Does anyone know where this may be online somewhere, like a template???
Thanks!

thanks, i liked terri's sheet from the minnesota site for my summer clinical starting on monday. we don't pass meds this summer, but we learn how to have four patients at a time doing mostly tech type work, but assessment, reviewing chart information, and communication skills practice. i took it and spread it out so i can have two patients on each side.
i love your sheet daytonite, that will be great this fall when we have a detailed clinical with one to two patients at a time.
i listed the ones that applied to what the op was asking. over the years i have saved a list of the various report sheets posted by various allnurses members when i have run across them in posts. many of the allnurses members have been willing to share their report sheets and some call them "brains". i found very early in my career that if i wanted something that would work for me i had to make it myself. and when personal computers came about it just got easier to make and edit them. i used to actually hand type sheets and then xerox them before computers and printers.

daytonite, i have been using your tips since my first clinical day!
every one called me nerd, or whatever, now they see that i can get all the info and have it nice and organized, and get my stuff done in half of the time it takes them, because they are out of track!
so on medsurge they all started using it, and we are so productive!!!
thanks again,
oh,
i made this one here myself that helps like a check list, so everybody is welcome to use/edit it to help you keep on track on clinicals and not get lost with "chores" and forget what you were suppose to be doing!
it helps me by organizing, and i take your disease disorder sheet daytonite, so i can add pt symptoms to it, and reflect what i see with what i know, and what i read...
helps me understand medsurge way better!!!
good luck yall!!!
any feed back on the list is welcome!
