I recently excepted an Adon position, but have not heard back from them? I have called and emailed no response? At first I thought they are just busy but now im thinking no it may be something else? Am I wrong for feeling this way?

When did you interview, and what led you to expect an offer?

Maybe you should have "accepted" the position, not "excepted" it.
Completely different meaning.
Um.....really? What is this highschool? I bet you were just waiting all day to be a technical ***** huh? Anyway @klone i was made an offer over the phone. The interview was over two weeks ago.

Going forward, I would be 100% sure that you get in writing an offer letter. Unfortunetely, unless you have it in writing, it doesn't matter what was said over the phone. (ie: Will you be sending me my offer letter via mail, email, or should I come in and sign it next week? How about Wednesday at 2pm? Excellent, thank you! Do you need any other documentation from me at that time?)
I would again write an email, verify that you accepted a ADON position that was offered to you, ask if you can come in and have a meeting to set up a schedule, sign the offer letter, and whatever other documents you need to sign.
If you do not hear from them, I would assume that other arrangements have been made. Which stinks, You can only go forward from here.
Or, you could go to the facility, ask to speak to HR, and if they are unavailable, make an appointment to see them. If nothing else, to find out why you were offered a job that was then not followed through on.
Best wishes!
Those were my thoughts and feelings about the situation. Human resources emailed me a week after the verbal offer was made instructing me to set up a time to come in and finish the paperwork required. I have attempted to make contact on several occasions without success. My friend suggested that i be more aggressive, but I have never experienced a situation like this, I believe im where I should be continuing to learn, build and grow into my ideal nursing position. Thanks

Your username fits.
I would go in--in person--and set up the appointment.
Best of luck in your endevours!
