Hi, I have been reading different threads here and I see people calling or referring to nursing students as OP. Why are nursing students referred as OP? What does OP stands for? I tried to Google this but can't find an answer. THX :)

OP = original poster. It refers to the person who began the thread. For this thread, you would be the OP.

Just in FYI, PP is also often used and it means "previous poster" :)

What does OP stands for?
Other forums use LW to stand for 'letter writer' or, as someone else had mentioned, PP to stand for 'previous poster.'
