I know it's early, but let's get a thread going. 2015-hopefuls, share your thoughts, concerns, questions, and experiences here!

Just got into Nipissings SP program!

Wondering whats happening with York and U of T. If I don't hear something soon, I might explode.

same here, im dying to get a response from york

Was yours a conditional acceptance?

me too! ugh this waiting is getting annoying. Since someone says her offer from York expires on the 15th, then hopefully they will send out more! Yikes

yea hopefully we can get something by the 15th then. york is my last hope so the wait is 10x worse for me.

I'm waiting with a sGPA 3.62 and a cGPA 3.30 so the cut off must still be super high...

To put things in perspective, I was on the wait-list at York last year until August 29th and was ultimately rejected. I was living abroad and only applied to the one school and called them periodically asking for updates. I was often told that it was "a good sign" that it still said "no decision yet". My cgpa was around a B/B+ and my last 10 courses were a high A-, best 10 A+/A. When I found out that I was rejected (over the phone because myfile still hadn't updated) I was told that if I were to apply again, that the deciding factor that didn't qualify me was likely my prerequisite marks as some of them weren't as strong.

This year, I applied to Trent, Nipissing SPP and York again. I was accepted to Trent in February and to Nipissing (first choice) this week. Still waiting on a response from York, though I won't be attending.

Good luck to everyone!

I declined my offer to Trent so a spot should open up there soon!

I'm waiting with a sGPA 3.62 and a cGPA 3.30 so the cut off must still be super high...

I got accepted 1.5 weeks ago with an sGPA of 3.7 and cGPA 3.35. So must be getting close! Good luck.

I was accepted to the Nipissing SPP. It is my first choice, but it also depends on the placement - as I don't want Sick Kids as my main one. I will likely be declining Humber soon as a result, so hopefully that opens up a spot for someone on here. =)
