Hey everyone!
I haven't seen a post for Fall 2021 yet so here it is!
My choices are:
1. UofT
2. McMaster
3. Nipissing SPP
I started my OUAC application in November and now trying to work on the supplemental packages. My CASPer Test is on January 12, 2021.
I need to take Anatomy and Physio course(s) however, I'm having a hard time figuring out what would satisfy the requirements from all three universities. My options so far are:
1. Take CBLG 101 in Winter and CBLG 111 in Spring at Ryerson. However final grade will be in June; hoping that's fine. This satisfies all 3 unis
2. Take SCS 2159 in Winter from UofT which is enough for UofT and McMaster but not for Nipissing. I have to take an Anatomy course just for Nip.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from back home, been working as an RECE in Toronto the last 8 years, have a Diploma in Nonprofit Management at Ryerson. My cGPA is 3.55 which I'm worried about. Lots of extra curricular activities from university and volunteering here in Toronto. I still have to compute the GPA for the last two years.
I requested WES to send my transcripts to Nip and McMaster and asked my old uni to send to UofT.
It's been an expensive application so far; really hoping I get in! Looking forward to chatting with you all and sharing our experiences.

Hey, I emailed U of T in Jan asking how to send my Athabasca transcript, as Athabasca only emails transcripts and doesn't send out hard copies. They replied saying to upload it to joinID.
I emailed myself the official transcript and uploaded it to joinID for both interim and final grades. I did this by logging into My AU, scrolling down the the orange heading of Student Record, and selecting the category of manage student record - request transcript, adding my name and email as the person who would receive it.
I have no gotten any feedback on my application yet, just says "Application Received." I hope this helps.

Thank you!! my subGPA was 3.7 but it improved with last semester so I applied with a 3.6

Oh cool, didn't know they call up. Do you mind sharing why Mac?

Ya! they say in their waitlist letter they will call the phone# you have on student center and move to the next person on the list if they can't reach you. I went to uwo for my ug so I wanted something different and I've heard their placements are fewer in number. I also like that I'd be closer to home and the rep of Mac nursing is a nice added bonus haha
Has anyone signed up for/completed their CPR courses yet? I’m specifically looking for information about McMaster, but I suspect the requirements are the same or similar.
Whwrw specifically have you signed up and what is the name of the course? I have found that almost everyone that offers these courses has several that are HCP level and include BLS/AED. The issue is some are 4 days and include full first aid and others are 6 hours and just cover CPR w AED/BSL. I plan on e-mailing to confirm what is required, but just looking for insight from anyone who has any information.
Thanks!
