I am currently a third year York University student hoping to apply for second entry nursing at York
only next year (yes I am going through the strike).
Since applications open in November, I thought it would be best to get this forum started. I am hoping to get more insight into the program and I hope current and past nursing students would share their views on the program and how job searching went. Also, what nursing specialties do most York nursing graduates enter as I am hoping to get into public health. Furthermore, share your insights on Humber, McMaster, U of T, Trent, Queens, Western, Ottawa and Nippissing. (I think that is all) and don't forget to include your acceptance GPAs.
Tomorrow's April 1st...is anyone else super nervous for UofT? I know they usually start second week of April but I'm sooo nervous!
I'm so nervous! The first round of admissions will come out one week from today. Last year it was on the 9th which was a Monday and the year before it was on the 10th, which was a Monday. This year it will be the 8th! Finger's crossed. I'm so tired of waiting to hear back, lol.

Wondering if anyone currently enrolled at york has details on the program and placements? I was admitted last week and wondering what is it like. Currently a york student and graduating in June, but weary to go back because of the strikes and distance from where I live.
Also, if a current student at Humber has information on the program, I would love to know more, or if anyone has more details, that would be lovely. thanks in advance
