Ontario Second Entry Nursing Fall 2018

I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?

Anyone in the forum receive an award/scholarship/bursary from UofT? Not sure if I just wasn't selected or they haven't given them out yet.

I just received mine in the mail last week and it was postmarked as June 29. Not sure if that's applicable for all of them though. Hope that helps!

Has anyone waitlisted at Queen's hearanything lately? I've pretty much lost all hope of going there

For those on UofT's wait list, has anyone heard anything about when they might release the ranking? The email they sent out said late July...I'm afraid that means July 31. Also, does anyone know if they've been accepting students off of the wait list during the ranking process? I have to believe that at least a couple of spots would have opened up by now.

They sent me an email today. They have 3 different groups for the waitlist. Group 1 will be offered admission first and so on. They tell you which group you are in but not any other numbers, not even how many people are in the groups.

To those waiting to hear back from UofT waitlists.. I feel for you! @bnavas I believe the last day to be admitted into the program is Aug. 30th as per the calendar.

I saw someone who was waitlisted received an offer in this group and they just got an email saying they got in. I'm assuming if we don't get one of those we didn't get in

I was told that on average 10 people/year have made it off of the waitlist...

I have to wonder if they over-accepted this year, it might explain why we found out so late in the summer. If that is the case, I feel like that stat wouldn't be accurate.
