I'm applying to the second entry nursing program in February 2018 for Fall 2018 admission. I'm applying to York, Humber, Trent, Nipissing and potentially Western. I'll be applying with a BA in psych. This is probably super premature, but I wanted some reassurance from fellow applicants. I also wanted to know if anyone, past or previous applicants, know the weighting of Additional Information forms and how they're considered during the application process? I was diagnosed with ADHD during my second year of university, after being misdiagnosed two previous times, and it's certainly had an impact on my grades. My GPA is going to be something like 6.7 on a 9.0 scale. And this really has me worried. Has anyone else had any experiences with Add. Forms?
Good luck to all!
Anyone know the process for Western after June 1? My school hasn't sent marks and I just want to know if that means they'll accept others before me due to that. I'm scared about housing and would rather not scramble for a house if I get accepted in July/August
Hope everyone's having a good weekend

Hey I understand your housing worries but for what it's worth, I did my undergrad in London and finding a place to rent is always incredibly easy. It's a renters market. Can't comment on the process, but I loved going to Western and hope you get in.
Has anyone heard from York second entry?
I heard back at the beginning of April. Some people have gotten accepted as late as August and I know that rejection letters usually go out after the waitlist. I believe York has 145 spots compared to some other programs with only ~50 so good luck!

Thanks for trying to keep my mind easy, it's just stressful being in the dark
I'm also worried about Hamilton's housing market because I'll be going to mac if I don't hear from western.
I hate that I can't contact anyone on weekends

I was in the same boat, my school won't send grades out until after May 31st, I went to my registrar's office and got them to send my grades in a different way other than on a transcript with a note saying that my transcript wouldn't be ready until after May 31st and Western was able to accept this in the mean time until I can get my official transcript to them. So maybe try talking to your registrar's office on Monday and see if they can do anything for you! Crossing my fingers for both of us!

I didn't even know that was an option, thanks so much for that I really appreciate it. I'm so stressed about it, I don't want to be overlooked because of an administrative error. If I don't get in because of poor marks then that's on me but I dont want to miss an opportunity due to a technicality

I feel exactly the same way, and say that to your registrar's office, I emailed them a bunch of times and they told me there was nothing they could do until I went in PERSON and explained my problem and they were able to work around it. I also emailed Western explaining the issue and that I would be super upset if I didn't get in because of a timing thing as opposed to because of my grades, and they said that the document I gave them was fine as long as it came from the school itself and not from me, and that I send them my transcript as soon as it is available. So hopefully you can work something out, don't give up, literally email and call as many people as you can until you get an answer!
I called Trent, u of T and Mac today. Since I'm waiting for my current school to send out my marks. Trent said that if you receive an alternate offer that's the final offer. Mac said they often don't wait for the final transcript and she mentioned they have updated my application just this morning and I should receive news soon. So I'm assuming other people will also hear from Mac really soon! And the person I spoke to at u of t was really vague amd unhelpful aha. Just wanted to let people know in case it's helpful !
