Ontario RPN-RN Bridge September 2020 Intake

Published

Anyone applying to any RPN-RN bridging programs for Fall 2020?

I applied to Ontario Tech University (formerly UOIT). I’m thinking of applying to George Brown/Trent, Conestoga/McMaster and Mohawk/McMaster as backups but I really want UOIT.

Which school is the best bridging school to go to? Ontario Tech, Humber College, George Brown, or Mcmaster? Humber college is shortest. Does anyone attend any of these schools and can you please inform me of any information you have about the school, are the teachers good teachers? Is the GPA difficult to attain? Is there enough support? Thank you. Would like to start my bridging program for 2022, so have to decide which schools to apply to.

Consider checking this link out: https://www.cno.org/en/become-a-nurse/approved-nursing-programs/RN-programs/

CNO shows the list of schools with approved nursing programs/curriculum and they have a report (a separate PDF doc on the side) of the passing rates for provincial exams based on nursing program/schools.

I'm not sure if Humber College is offering bridging program anymore. Double check though. I did the bridging program from Humber, it was relatively easy for me. Some profs were difficult, but majority taught and were helpful. Good luck!
